Biography of Master Iliya "Mim" Ramollah
"Narrated by one of his students"
As one who was present at most of Master Iliya’s life, I would like to have a quick review of his life; of course not all of his life but the parts which relate to outward happenings of his life up to now.
This is a very brief and of course incomplete biography.
Getting to know Quran
Iliya knew Quran before going to school and he read it and then he was usually the first winner of the contests on reading and interpreting Quran most of the times during school. Most of the school ceremonies and morning or noon ceremonies of school started with him reading Quran.
Sometimes he read Quran in such a very beautiful way and in such beautiful rhythm that electrified the audience; in some ceremonies the audience started clapping for him as they were so excited by the way he was reading Quran. It was very weird because clapping is against the usual custom of listening to Quran.
He also taught some courses on reading and interpreting Quran and he continued teaching Quran from childhood until the end of his education at school. Of course at the last years of his education at school, he only taught Quran-interpretation but the names of the courses were not Quran-interpreting courses and he did not speak about interpreting Quran formally.
A liturgist
In most of the school time, as much as I remember, he was the liturgist for the students of school. So he was always encouraged by some of the school staffs and the authorities of education department.
Sport Champion
During his studying years, he was the champion in several sport fields and he was received several testimonials and trophies by related offices and boards. In most of different sport matches he was the champion including football matches, running in 100 meters, wrestling, boxing, martial arts (shoaling), physical fitness and chess.
He was mostly the superior person in sport matches but once he was runner up due to being sick. In his teens and later on, he established some sport teams which were working under his supervision. Iliya said that he took part in sport matches to test them. He took part in sport matches without any preparation or rehearsal. For example I remember a wrestling match that was simultaneous with another exam and those who registered for the match were sent to another place to have medical tests; this was the reason Iliya took part in that wrestling match and he knocked all his rivals out. Then after the first round of wrestling matches, some of wrestling instructors asked him to join their teams but he said he wanted to accompany his football team. Therefore simultaneous with being a wrestling champion, he was one of the most successful footballers we knew and he was a football coach.
Excellent artist
One of the weirdest experiences that I remember about Iliya is the fact that no matter what field he entered to, he reached the pick of it quickly and with a little attempt. I remember whatever he did was a brilliant job and a masterpiece. I am not telling this out of prejudice and I am not the only witness. These are not my personal perceptions or understanding either; because there are many proofs and results which admit this quality in him. Iliya has received many prized and trophies in different matches and contests such as Quran reading, wrestling, football and other fields which all of them are available now. He also took part in different art fields and became superior in them. He received many awards in artistic fields. For instance he took part in singing competition when he was at fourth or fifth level in primary school and he won the first prize. I cannot remember well that it was a competition for traditional singing or singing revolutionary songs. When he was at second or third year of guidance school, he became first person in composition and writing competition.
An average student and then top student
During school years, he was often an average student but it was the third year of guidance school when he said “I am going to be the top student” and he did it. I think it was the first and last time he became the top student at school. I remember when we went to receive his certificate, he could not help laughing in front of the camera and when the photographer asked him not to laugh he laughed more. So I told him remember a sad happening to stop laughing and the photographer took his photo while he was trying to be sad so the photo turned out to be a very funny and memorable one.
For high school, he took part in the exam of intelligent students and so he entered intelligent-student school but from the very first year he started to lose his motivation for studying at the school and he finally quit studying at school two or three years later. Of course in that two or three years of high school he did not study and was usually absent.
An accomplished theoretician and reformist
He was expelled from classes and school several times. These expels were mostly because of his reformist character of him. One of our teachers called him Newton and another one called him Einstein.
His theories amazed many educated people and they could not believe that he had not studied them in any books. But I attest that Iliya proposed the theories himself and did not use any sources or references.
It was the first year of high school when he struggled with the religion teacher. I was not in the same school with him at that time but I heard what happened; Iliya had proposed a theory about God’s spirit and the religion teacher accused him of cheating from the book of Almizan Interpretation written by Alame Tabatabie. And he insisted that Iliya was tending to ridicule him. But that theory was not in the mention book and now that twenty years has passed it is not still in any books. The religion teacher and some other teachers started offending and humiliating him and this was one of the possible reasons that he lost his motivation to go to intelligent-student school. He proposed different theories which were very different and were showing a kind of dissatisfaction with present theories. For instance I remember when he was at twelve or thirteen and in guidance school he was working on a magnetic machine which could work without extra energy and could work only with magnetic energy permanently. His proposal was mentioned in a famous journal at that time. This idea was against current thinking which knew it necessary to inject external energy into systems.
When in some fields he did not have a special talent, his new and creative ideas worked. I remember he was very weak at drawing and calligraphy. He could not draw pictures at all in a way that he was one of the weakest students in drawing but he used his ideas several times which were wonderful. Once he brought a blank white sheet instead of drawing and said it was the drawing of Silence because he said there were no words in silence so the drawing of silence was blank.
Getting to know esoteric science
When he was eleven, he went to some places near Yazd city and Ardekan and Tabas and he stayed there for a while. It was the time he got to know with some Iranian esoteric masters and his friendship with some of them was very close and deep. Master Mansour and Master Nasrollah were among these people. Iliya mastered ancient esoteric science of Iran and its methods in a short time and he sometimes did extraordinary actions for us. He also taught these ways and the science to some of his friends including me. But we were not allowed to use them out of the defined limits and conditions. Before learning these ways and methods, Iliya was researching about inward interpretations of Quran verses especially about praying, trusting God and success and after learning the esoteric methods and its science, he made a general change in what he had found before.
Great Master of Esoteric science; Master Roohollah
From the early teens, Iliya sometimes spoke about a Great person in esoteric science. He sometimes said that he has dreamt him but was not able to speak with him or he explained other happenings for us.
Iliya introduced him with special signs that led us think he was the famous Maha Avatar who lives in an unknown way. This idea came to us from the books on Maha Avatar. from many esoteric masters and privileged point of view Maha Avatar is Messiah but Iliya has never spoken about any special relations with such characters.
He was at fifteen or sixteen that he spoke about his relation with a person called Roohollah. It was a night when he came to my place. His face was completely changed. His body was trembling and said “I saw him…” but he did not explain more. After that night, Iliya changed significantly and a new period started in his life or it is better to say that a very astonishing period started in his life.
Meeting Periya
I can clearly remember the day Iliya met Periya (Miss Shabab Hesami). I think he was about eleven or twelve. They were friends for a while and wrote letters to each other or called and dated. But Periya’s family left the place later and Iliya did not know their new address. Later he found out that they were in Tehran. He sent me and another friend to Tehran to find her. We only had one clue; she was in Tehran. We decided to find her in any ways possible and Iliya accepted to do something for us to make up…. We were not successful to find her after many days but after a short time Iliya found her again and after few years they got married.
Dependent Groups
From the early teens, there were some groups depending on Iliya which had specific duties; they were either successful or unsuccessful. In his teens he had some sport teams including two football teams. At that time he also had an art group. He was at first year high school when he established a small group of children who had new and different ideas. At fifteen and sixteen he established different groups and when he was twenty two he had established many different and organized researching and exercising groups which all were led and taught by different teachers and instructors. After a short time he changed all of our exercises. Our exercises were directly about Soul-proliferation, Revival and Energy-proliferation. Later he talked about Elahism and he taught us many ancient ways which did not have a background in known sciences of the day…. We exercised on Energy-proliferation, faraway observation, soul-relations, soul-transfer and healing. Iliya had established different groups of Energy-proliferation and soul-proliferation which all had an instructor as a leader. Most of the members of the groups did not know Iliya but knew their instructors as representatives of a great Master. Simultaneously Iliya searched for all who claimed spirituality. He had started looking for those who knew about esoteric and mystery sciences some years ago. In some of his visits I was accompanying him. Most of such people refused to visit him and some of Aghtabs (esoteric masters) were defeated right after starting debates with very young Iliya. We went to visit two great predictors twice. Iliya usually wanted to tell them that “if you know something, teach and lead me but if I know more than you, you can follow me”
But those two, who we went to them twice in three or four years, said different things to Iliya which were unbelievable or even ridiculous for both of us…
Other periods
Some of the periods of Iliya’s life have been explained by other friends several times so I avoid repeating them again.
Public Groups; Elyasin Community
After Iliya started giving public lectures and teaching public courses, many voluntary groups were established by his guidelines. And they progressed to be the biggest NGOs of the country. The complex of these groups and NGOs is called Elyasin Community now. Some of the mentioned groups, associations and NGOs are as follows:

Written and Verbal Works
Most of the Iliya’s lectures and private teaching courses have been recorded on tapes or videos during last fifteen years ago and these are considered as verbal works of Master. These films have been transcribed and edited into plain texts and have been turned into different works which are more than forty up to now. Some of these works are as follows:

Demolition Jobs against Iliya
Demolition jobs against Iliya started from twelve years ago immediately after the first book published on his lectures and it has been continuing up to now. If I am not mistaken, it was 1998 when his enemies burglarized his house and took all of his videos, cassettes and writings. This burglary which was designed to look as a common burglary was committed by some certain people who had shown their presence in Iliya’s lectures and speech sessions before by trying to threaten and intimidate him. It was a short time after burglary that a chain of threats started against him. The threatener’s methods were montage and distortion of his films and writings. The most important part of the montage work was omitting the first part or last parts of the films or cutting the scenes in a designed way to change the meaning and content of his words. They threatened Iliya to copy and spread the montage films but our public affair office quickly published some declarations for several times and informed people of distortions and montages of Iliya’s lectures and family films.
The wave of demolition jobs and propaganda against Iliya had a rapid increase in later years. Then a new wave of demolition jobs against Iliya started in 2005 in the media. The national media of the country started to use phrases like “Ramollah Cult” and simultaneously the mentioned media announced that four cultural and security organizations had been ordered to encounter Ramollah Cult. The phrase “Ramollah Cult” was a new suspicious and meaningful phrase which was a part of intriguing against Iliya and great Elyasin Community.
The last formal lecture of Iliya was held in Afrasyabi Auditorium in Shahid Shiroodi Stadium. At that session a direct physical attack happened against Iliya but it was unsuccessful by people’s interference. After this session, a lecture was going to be held in Great Azadi Stadium. But when the procedure of asking for the permission from authorities was followed, an immediately disagreed by the security organizations stopped the procedure. After this disagreement, one of the known extremist newspapers of Iran, in an unexampled act, announced that a branch in court is formed to investigate public complaints against Iliya and asked people to go there to make possible complaints. But after some months and because of not receiving any private complaints, the mentioned court announced that the court case is dismissed. This media action was very strange because not only there were no reasons for people to make complaints against Iliya but also there was a great support by different groups of people especially university students, intellectuals and young people. The support was up to such extend that caused the security departments name Elyasin Community as “Super Cult”.
Many pieces of news spread saying that some secret agents from a specific security department had gone to different people and asked them to make complaints against Iliya. The people who were asked to make complaints by the secret agents attested in some documentary films about being asked or ordered to make complaints against Iliya by the secret agents. Some other people claimed that they have been under pressure to make false testimonies and attest falsely against Iliya. Video reports of those people are available now.
Shortly after the court case was dismissed, the security agents attacked Iliya’s house barbarically and arrested Iliya. He was imprisoned in infamous 209 ward of Evin prison.
It is months that Iliya has been imprisoned, and during this time we have received different news on his tortures and bleedings.
The demolition jobs against him have been increased drastically on TV and extremist’s websites and newspapers. Many speeches are held against him in different centers; there are many different television round-tables on demolishing and decrying him. Television serials are made against him concentrating on the name of Iliya (Elias). Many books are written against him and are sent to different centers freely.
I can say daringly that there have never been any demolition jobs and false accusations against any one like Iliya in media history of Iran and no one has ever been faced with the hatred and curses of religious extremists of Iran like Iliya…
“Do not believe what you hear about me unless it is harmonious with my thoughts, my manners and my signs. If what you hear is not in harmony with divine principles and teachings, be sure that is not said by me or it is not about me. If all people say those unfair and inharmonious things about me, do not accept them and wait for my soul to reveal the reality and disclose the lies. It is like impossible if I tell a lie or I do something unfairly or ignorantly. It is impossible if I teach or do something which is in contradiction with Quran and divine words so be sure and know this fact a base to recognize what you hear about me. I will not act against my teachings so if you hear something against my teachings, be sure that is false and wait for the reality being revealed and wait for the liar being showed up.” Iliya M.

“If you do not react against hypocrites and hypocrisy and schism, it is hypocrisy and you are a hypocrite. keeping silent when encountering hypocrisy is supporting it and also being involved in it. You are either the supporter of truth or falsehood. There is no middle point between truth and falsehood. That is why being conservative usually leads human into hypocrisy.” Iliya M.
